By purchasing a ticket for and/or participating in any event, class, pop-up, or activity hosted, organized, sponsored, or promoted by VL Collective LLC, including but not limited to fitness, Pilates, wellness, food, beverage, social, or community events (collectively, the “Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. AGE REQUIREMENT
   
   I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age at the time of purchase and participation. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend or participate in the Event.
   
   
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
   
   I understand that participation in physical activity, fitness, wellness, and experiential events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, sprains, joint injury, dizziness, falls, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, allergic reactions, illness, or other physical injury. I voluntarily choose to participate and knowingly assume all risks associated with my participation.
   
   
3. FOOD, BEVERAGE & ALLERGY DISCLOSURE
   
   I understand that food and beverages may be provided, sold, or available at the Event, including but not limited to drinks, matcha, snacks, samples, or catered items. I acknowledge that:
   
   • Ingredients may include common allergens such as nuts, dairy, soy, gluten, eggs, or other allergens
   
   • Food and beverages may be prepared, handled, or served in shared environments where cross-contamination may occur
   
   • VL Collective LLC does not guarantee allergen-free food or beverages
   
   I voluntarily assume all risks related to food and beverage consumption and accept full responsibility for managing my own allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions.
   
   
4. HEALTH REPRESENTATION
   
   I represent that I am physically and medically able to participate in the Event and to consume any food or beverages offered. I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my physical condition and to stop participation immediately if I experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, allergic symptoms, or feel unwell.
   
   
5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND NEGLIGENCE WAIVER
   
   To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge VL Collective LLC, its affiliated brands and programs (including but not limited to Eat Gainesville and 616 Pilates), owners, members, employees, independent contractors, guest instructors, volunteers, affiliates, sponsors, vendors, and the event venue from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities, including those arising from the negligence of the released parties, related to my participation in the Event or consumption of any food or beverages.
   
   This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
   
   
6. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND VENDORS
   
   I understand that instructors, facilitators, food vendors, beverage providers, and other participants involved in the Event may be independent contractors and not employees of VL Collective LLC. Nothing in this agreement shall be interpreted as creating an employer-employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture.
   
   
7. NO MEDICAL OR DIETARY ADVICE
   
   I acknowledge that no medical, dietary, nutritional, or professional advice is being provided. Any instruction, guidance, or information shared is for general informational and educational purposes only.
   
   
8. MEDIA RELEASE
   
   I grant permission for photographs or video taken during the Event to be used by VL Collective LLC for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes, without compensation.
   
   
9. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
   
   This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, and any legal action arising from this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Florida.
   
   
10. BINDING AGREEMENT AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
    
    I acknowledge that this is a legally binding agreement. By completing my purchase and/or participating in the Event, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Event Liability Waiver, Release of Claims & Allergy Disclosure.
